This is great. I liked and subscribed within the first thirty seconds. Before you could even ask. You start our by demonstrating right up front you can play it. And jump right on it with no BS. Maybe you should also teach the other youtubers how to produce effective guitar lessons. Those people waste my time and frustrate me greatly.

I’m a beginner so no hate but this video was confusing and you should’ve played each section after explaining the chords instead of jumping to bridge and verses 😅

Something that is of interest, is why the treble notes are being played, in chord patterns, for those of us that don't know this theory.

Great lesson. John Prine was mainly known to base pattern pick 6/4 and use his index finger as you showed on the last part of the lesson. This is the best lesson I have seen to date, on, or for John Prine guitar, Though this is a Blaze Foley song, lol

David, Using the standard tuner, without having to pay to retune to 432 or 453, can we assume 432 is 10% or 1 mark down from 440. Is that consistent 1 down to all notes/ strings?

Hi David….question, when you say you practiced that a lot, what’s a lot? I seem to practice and practice and practice, and I still have troubles. Playing about 20 months, age 71, cognitive function excellent and no arthritis in my hands..lol. Just thought I’d throw that in there.
